Little Alaskan – Buy Outright Clothing Program Terms & Conditions

By participating in our Buy Outright Program, you agree to the following terms:

1. Program Overview
Little Alaskan purchases gently used children’s clothing and accessories outright at our discretion. Items are selected based on current inventory needs, seasonality, and condition.
We are not a consignment store—payment is provided upfront for accepted items in cash or store credit.

2. Item Eligibility
We are currently accepting:

  • Clean, gently used children’s clothing (newborn–12)
  • Select shoes, outerwear, and accessories
  • After many years of buying and selling kids clothes, we have a good idea of what will sell and for what price. We will pass over items that do not sell well for us. 

We do not accept:

  • Stained, heavily worn, or damaged items
  • Items with strong odors (smoke, mildew, etc.)
  • Recalled items or unsafe products
  • The following brands: Carters, First Impressions, Old Navy, Wonder Nation, Cat&Jack, Faded Glory, Circo, Gerber, Cloud Island, DIP, Koala Kids, Art Class, George, Jumping Beans, Jordache, Epic Threads, Quiltex, etc.

All items must be freshly laundered and folded.

3. Buying Process

  • Items are reviewed in-store from 11am-3pm. Drop your items off, and plan on returning later in the day or the next day once you receive a notification that we are done your buy. 
  • Acceptance is based on brand, condition, style, and current inventory needs

We reserve the right to decline any items for any reason.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • Offers are made based on resale value, brand, and condition
  • Payment is provided as:
    • Store credit at 45% of the resale value
    • Cash at 35% of the resale value

All offers are final once accepted.

5. Ownership of Items
Once payment is issued, all accepted items become the property of Little Alaskan and will not be returned.

6. Unaccepted Items
Customers are responsible for picking up all unaccepted items with them within one business day. We do not store or hold declined items. Items not picked up within one business day become the property of Little Alaskan to dispose of as we see fit. 

7. Right to Modify
Little Alaskan reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.

8. Kindness Clause
We’re a small, family-run shop doing our best to curate a high-quality, affordable selection for our community. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and kindness during the buying process. Buying decisions are final, and trying to persuade the staff will not be tolerated.
